Vtg Brass Birdcage w/ Quatrefoil Floor Stand - A vintage birdcage constructed from brass-plated wire and metal, suspended from a decorative floor stand. The cage features a domed wire top and a lower band wrapped in fine-mesh screen. It is equipped with two removable, external seed and water cups made of clear molded glass with a horizontal ribbed pattern. The cage is suspended by a coiled spring hook from a large, stylized quatrefoil metal frame. The frame is supported by a slender columnar pole terminating in a weighted, stepped circular base. The interior contains a naturalistic bird's nest composed of dried grasses. The design is in the style of early 20th-century American manufacturers such as Hendryx.
