Trio Coca-Cola & Pepsi-Cola Advertising Tin Trays - A trio of licensed metal advertising trays produced for the Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola companies. The collection includes two Coca-Cola trays and one Pepsi-Cola tray, all manufactured of tin-plated steel with lithographed graphics. The first item is a 1986 Coca-Cola tray featuring a red border and a central depiction of Santa Claus in the Haddon Sundblom style. It bears the script Coca-Cola logo and a 1986 copyright mark on the lower face. The reverse is finished in a gold tone and includes a printed barcode and the official licensed product logo for The Coca-Cola Company. The second item is a 1994 Coca-Cola tray titled Sign of Good Taste featuring a 1950s-era diner scene with vintage automobiles by artist Pamela C. Renfroe. The face of the tray includes a copyright mark for the artist dated 1991. The reverse provides a history of the artwork, identifying the image source as a 1989 oil painting.
