5 Embossed Brass Wall Plates & Chargers - A collection of five embossed brass decorative wall plates and chargers featuring traditional maritime and Dutch genre scenes. The group includes three circular maritime-themed pieces of varying sizes, each depicting a three-masted galleon at sea. One large maritime charger features a simple rope-twist edge, while a second large charger and a smaller plate both feature highly ornate borders with acanthus leaf and C-scroll motifs. The collection also includes two genre scene pieces: one oval plate depicting figures in traditional Dutch attire walking past rural cottages, and one circular plate illustrating a tavern interior with figures socializing and playing a lute. The tavern scene is framed by a geometric and foliate border. All pieces are constructed from stamped and embossed brass with rolled or decorative edges.
