Trio Hoosier Style Ribbed Glass Coffee Canisters - This lot features a trio of vintage clear glass storage canisters characterized by vertical fluting and embossed labeling, in the style of jars produced for Hoosier or Sellers kitchen cabinets. Each jar is made of pressed glass and features a cylindrical body with a threaded neck for a metal screw-top lid. Two of the jars are embossed with the word COFFEE inside a stylized decorative banner, while the third jar is embossed with COFFEE in plain block lettering. The jars are paired with mismatched vintage metal lids. The tallest jar features a dark blue lid with printed instructions for Burma-Shave, identifying the manufacturer as Burma-Vita Co. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The mid-sized jar includes a gray and yellow metal lid marked VITA in red lettering with a circular graphic of two characters. The shortest jar has a plain off-white lid with a handwritten green adhesive sticker reading 46. The variety of lids indicates these pieces were repurposed for storage over time.
