Dietz Monarch Tubular Kerosene Lantern w/ Globe - This antique Dietz Monarch tubular kerosene lantern features a metal frame with a dark, oxidized finish and a clear glass globe. The glass globe is embossed with the manufacturer's mark DIETZ within an oval, followed by FITALL and NEW YORK U.S.A. below. The word MONARCH is embossed on the upper shoulder of the fuel fount base. The lantern is constructed with two vertical side tubes that connect the fount to the chimney, forming a classic cold-blast design. A protective wire cage surrounds the globe. The base includes a fuel filler cap and a wick adjustment knob. The burner assembly appears to be present within the globe.
