Galvanized Steel Watering Can w/ Brass Rose & Wood - A vintage utilitarian watering can constructed from galvanized steel with a cylindrical body. The item features a dual-handle design, consisting of a fixed vertical handle at the rear and a pivoting top bail handle equipped with a contoured, turned wooden grip. The tapered spout is fitted with a circular sprinkler head, or rose, characterized by a prominent green-blue verdigris patina, suggesting a brass or copper composition. The rose is designed to be detachable from the spout. The body is reinforced with horizontal concentric ridges. No manufacturer stamps, maker's marks, or patent dates are visible on the body, handles, or base. A small yellow rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the upper shoulder of the can.
