Two Southwestern Indigenous Hand-Coiled Baskets - Two hand-coiled baskets composed of natural plant fibers, attributed to the Southwestern United States Indigenous traditions, such as the Navajo (Din?). The collection includes a shallow tray and a smaller bowl. The tray features a central medallion with concentric rings of green and reddish-brown fibers, bordered by a band of stepped geometric motifs and a dark-wrapped rim. The bowl-shaped basket displays a radial geometric pattern in dark and reddish-brown fibers against a light natural ground. An orange inventory tag marked with the number 76 is affixed to the interior of the bowl.
