Pair Vtg American Jadeite & Uranium Glass Juicers - This lot comprises two vintage American pressed glass citrus reamers from the mid-20th century. The first is a two-piece assembly consisting of a dome-shaped reamer lid with drainage slits and a graduated measuring cup base. This set is crafted from jadeite glass, characterized by its opaque, milky green appearance. The measuring cup features a vertical columnar ribbed exterior and a squared-off handle with stepped detailing. Embossed measurement markings on the vessel wall indicate ONE CUP, 3/4 CUP, 1/2 CUP, and 1/4 CUP. While no maker's mark is present, this specific design is widely attributed to the Jeannette Glass Company. The second item is a one-piece hand juicer featuring a central swirl-ribbed reamer, a pouring spout, and a circular finger-loop handle. The glass is a translucent light green that fluoresces vivid neon green under ultraviolet light, confirming its composition as uranium glass. The lower bowl of the juicer is decorated with a faceted or scalloped pattern. This form is characteristic of Sunkist reamers frequently produced by the McKee Glass Company during the Depression era. No manufacturer marks are visible on either piece.
