Jenkins, Pennsylvania Colonial & Federal, 2 Vols - This lot comprises Volumes I and II of the historical survey Pennsylvania Colonial and Federal: A History 1608-1905, edited by Howard M. Jenkins. The set was published in 1905 (MCMV) by the Pennsylvania Historical Publishing Association, located at One Hundred and Forty North Fifteenth Street, Philadelphia. The books are bound in publisher's maroon textured cloth with gilt-stamped titles, the editor's name, and gold-ruled lines on the spines. Both volumes are large octavo in size. The title pages feature a centered Seal of Pennsylvania. Volume Two contains a frontispiece portrait facing the title page. This work provides a comprehensive chronological history of Pennsylvania from 1608 through 1905.
