Bersted Mfg. Art Deco Chrome Waffle Iron w/ Tag - This vintage electric waffle iron is manufactured by the Bersted Mfg. Company of Fostoria, Ohio, and Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The unit features an Art Deco-style chrome-plated circular housing with brown fluted composite handles. The lid is decorated with a stylized winged motif that houses an integrated temperature gauge. The gauge dial includes a needle indicator with markings for COLD, BAKE, and HOT, and is stamped with MADE IN U.S.A. The interior consists of two round cast metal waffle plates, divided into four quadrants with a standard square grid pattern. An original yellow paper guarantee tag from the Bersted Mfg. Company remains attached to one of the handles. The appliance is equipped with a black and green fabric-wrapped power cord with a two-prong plug.
