The churn features a clear glass jar with a square base and rounded shoulders. The top is fitted with a screw-on cast iron lid and manual crank mechanism. Turning the side-mounted crank handle, which is finished with a wooden knob, rotates a central metal shaft equipped with a set of four wooden paddles inside the jar. The gearing uses a bevel gear system to translate horizontal cranking into vertical rotation. The underside of the glass jar bears a white rectangular adhesive sticker that reads: MADE IN INDIA. 11.5 inch tall
