A Pair of American Brown-Glazed Picket Fence Pattern Stoneware Mixing Bowls - A pair of American brown-glazed stoneware mixing bowls in the Picket Fence pattern, frequently attributed to the Uhl Pottery Company. These circular, tapered bowls are constructed with wide, molded collars and finished in a deep brown glaze. The lighter-colored clay body is visible as contrasting bands at the rims and shoulders of both pieces. One bowl features a vertical ribbed pattern on the collar above a body decorated with a stylized Art Deco-inspired sunburst or fan motif. The second bowl displays a chevron or inverted V pattern on the collar, accented by a pendant drop design encircling the body. The base of the fan-motif bowl is incised with the mark U.S.A., while the second bowl bears no visible maker marks.
