A Collection of Comic Books and Promotional DC Universe Posters - This lot comprises a grouping of comic books and promotional comic ephemera spanning the 1950s through the early 1990s. Included is a copy of Sergeant Preston of the Yukon published by Dell Comics, featuring a painted cover depicting the titular character and his dog, Yukon King. The issue is cover-dated February-April with a 10 cent cover price. Also included is Richie Rich: The Poor Little Rich Boy No. 148, published by Harvey World, with a November cover date and 30 cent cover price. The lot contains a single interior splash page from Marvel Tales Vol. 1, No. 95 (September 1978), which reprints The Amazing Spider-Man #116, featuring story credits to Stan Lee and art by John Romita. Two promotional posters from 1993 related to the Death of Superman and Funeral for a Friend storylines are present: one features a large gathering of DC Universe superheroes around a Superman memorial shield, signed Jurgens/Breeding in the plate; the second is Comics Values Monthly Poster Number 3 featuring a fist punching through a stone Superman logo, signed Grummett/Hazlewood 1993 in the plate.
