Antique Tabletop Swivel Dressing Mirror w/ Drawer - This antique tabletop dressing mirror, frequently referred to as a shaving mirror, dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece features an arched mirror plate set within a conforming wood frame. The frame is mounted on two fluted and turned upright supports, allowing the mirror to pivot for adjustment. These supports are fixed to a rectangular box base that houses a single, full-width drawer. The primary construction material is a dark-stained hardwood with a mahogany or walnut finish, while the secondary wood used for the drawer sides is a light-colored wood, likely pine or poplar. The drawer is constructed with simple joined construction using rabbet or butt joints rather than dovetails. Hardware consists of two simple turned wooden pulls on the drawer front and metal swivel hardware with turned wooden adjustment knobs on the upright supports. A modern white rectangular auction lot sticker with a barcode and the number 61 is located on the upper left of the backboard. Faint black stamped characters are present on the bottom right of the base back, though they are not clearly legible.
