Disney & Scholastic Children's Books & Cassettes - This collection consists of several hardcover children?s books and an assortment of audio cassette tapes, primarily featuring Disney and Scholastic titles produced between 1977 and 1993. The primary group includes multiple large-format hardcover books from The Talking Mickey Mouse Show series, published by Worlds of Wonder (W.o.W.) in conjunction with The Walt Disney Company. These titles include The Impossible Journey (1986), Secret of the Silver Mine (1987), The Littlest Viking (1987), A Mystery in Paris (1986), and The Little Lost Elephant (1987). Each of these volumes is accompanied by a color-coordinated cassette tape specifically designed for use with the Talking Mickey Mouse animatronic toy. The lot also contains several loose audio cassette tapes. Notable Scholastic Cassette titles include The Relatives Came by Cynthia Rylant (1993), Skyfire by Frank Asch (1990), Miss Nelson Has a Field Day by Harry Allard (1988), Over in the Meadow (1993), and Ming Lo Moves the Mountain by Arnold Lobel (1986).
