Pearson's Magazine, Oct & Nov 1909, 2 Issues - Two original softcover issues of Pearson's Magazine, specifically the October 1909 and November 1909 editions. These American periodicals are bound in their original illustrated paper wrappers and are quarto in size. The October issue includes The Adventures of Mr. Peter Ruff by E. Phillips Oppenheim, illustrated by Bayard Jones, and James Creelman's investigative piece After the Great Massacre. The November issue features cover art by Arthur Covey and contains James Creelman's The Turks, The Christians and the Holy Sepulchre along with political cartoons by W.A. Rogers. Both magazines contain numerous period advertisements, notably a color back-cover advertisement for Crystal Domino Sugar and ads for M. M. Motorcycles and the Hoffman House.
