Midland 13-105B Walkie-Talkies & Field Glasses - This lot features a pair of 1960s walkie-talkies and a pair of antique-style field glasses. The walkie-talkies are Midland Model 13-105B, manufactured in Japan in 1966. These portable hand-held transceivers are housed in black plastic cabinets with brushed metal-effect faceplates featuring a perforated sunburst pattern. Each unit is marked 5 Transistor and bears the stylized Midland manufacturer's mark. The reverse of each radio includes a silver foil label certifying FCC compliance and stating the manufacturing date. Both units are equipped with telescoping chrome antennas and side-mounted push-to-talk buttons. Included are two matching black textured leatherette carrying cases with silver Midland branding. The field glasses are of an antique Galilean design, constructed of metal with a black finish over brass. They feature a central knurled focusing wheel, a fixed-width bridge, and side loops for a neck strap. No maker's marks, model numbers, or magnification specifications are visible on the optics.
