A Pair of Antique Dazey Glass Jar Butter Churns - This lot features a pair of manual hand-crank glass jar butter churns produced by the Dazey Churn and Manufacturing Company. Each churn consists of a square-sided clear glass jar with vertically embossed lettering reading DAZEY. The top assembly is comprised of a cast metal screw-on lid, a vertical frame housing a bevel gear mechanism, and a side-mounted crank handle with a wooden knob. Internally, a metal shaft extends into the jar, terminating in a four-blade wooden paddle beater. The mechanical parts are constructed from cast iron and steel.
