Feuerhand No. 275 Baby Special Red Painted Lantern - A kerosene hurricane lantern manufactured by Feuerhand in West Germany. This model, identified as the No. 275 Baby Special, is constructed from stamped steel and finished in a vibrant red paint. The lantern features a bulbous clear glass globe secured within a protective wire cage frame. The top chimney cap is embossed with the inscriptions FEUERHAND and ORIGINAL NIER-PATENT. The fuel reservoir displays the manufacturer's trademark of a hand holding a flaming torch flanked by the words FEUER and HAND. The reverse side of the tank is embossed with the model number 275 and the origin W. GERMANY. The fuel filler cap also bears the embossed company logo.
