The tin is designed in the form of a small handbag or doctor's satchel, featuring a metal carry handle and a side-hinged access door with a latch. The exterior features a yellow-ochre faux leather pebble-grain pattern. The front face is decorated with a lithographed image of a luggage tag that reads HANDBAG CUT PLUG TOBACCO. The bottom of the container includes several lithographed panels. The top panel contains the text FACTORY NO. 45, 2ND DIST. VA / NOTICE: The Manufacturers of this tobacco have complied with all the requirements of law. Every person is cautioned under the penalties of law not to use this package for tobacco again.
