A.H. Heisey Greek Key Pressed Glass Lidded Jar - This clear pressed glass lidded jar was manufactured by A.H. Heisey and Co. in the Greek Key pattern, also known as Pattern Number 352. The vessel features a cylindrical form with a matching heavy lid. Decorative elements include three distinct bands of a Greek Key meander motif located around the bulbous lid finial, the upper shoulder of the jar, and the base. The main body and the lid are further articulated with wide vertical fluting. The top of the lid finial terminates in a molded sunburst or star pattern. The glass is fire-polished, which is characteristic of Heisey high-quality production. A molded manufacturer mark is located on the exterior center of the base. This mark consists of a central letter H contained within a diamond shape, with the word PRESSCUT arched above the diamond and the name HEISEY arched below.
