The unit is identified as Catalog No. 43 and consists of a horizontal chrome-plated metal boiler mounted atop a red-enameled sheet metal frame. The engine features a tall vertical chimney, a brass single-piston cylinder, and a spoked metal flywheel. Functional details include a steam whistle with a red-painted lever and a safety valve that serves as the water filler cap. The entire apparatus is secured to a beveled rectangular wooden base.
