Roseville Foxglove Handled Basket, Shape 374-10 - This is a American art pottery basket produced by Roseville Pottery. It features the Foxglove pattern, which was introduced by the company in 1942. The earthenware piece is decorated in relief with a cluster of bell-shaped foxglove flowers and foliage on a textured ground. The hand-applied matte glaze features a color gradient transitioning from dusty rose and ochre at the rim to a deep burgundy at the base, with green accents on the leaves. The form is characterized by a pedestal foot, a wide-flaring rim, and a large circular overhead handle. The underside of the base features an embossed mark reading Roseville U.S.A. 374-10.
