Roseville Foxglove Pottery Basket Vase 373-8 - A Roseville Pottery earthenware basket vase in the Foxglove pattern, introduced in 1942. This piece features a distinctive circular over-the-top handle and a flared, stepped fan-style rim. The body is decorated with molded high-relief floral sprays of foxglove blossoms in shades of yellow and cream with green leaves. The exterior is finished in a matte glaze that gradients from a pinkish-terracotta tone at the rim to a deep mahogany brown at the pedestal base. The underside of the base is marked with the incised script signature Roseville U.S.A. followed by the model number 373-8. Height: Approximately 8 inches.
