Roseville Pottery Foxglove Fan Vase, Shape 47-8 - An earthenware art pottery fan vase produced by the Roseville Pottery Company in the Foxglove pattern, first introduced circa 1942. The vessel features a five-compartment tiered body with a flared rim, supported by two sweeping handles that connect to a circular pedestal base. The exterior is decorated with a raised relief design of yellow foxglove blossoms and green foliage. The piece is finished in a matte dusty rose glaze that shades into a dark chocolate brown at the base. The underside features the incised cursive Roseville signature, U.S.A., and the shape and size number 47-8”. A small incised number 15 and a horizontal dash are also present on the base.
