Two Roseville Art Pottery Foxglove Pattern Vessels - This lot features two pieces of American art pottery from the Roseville Pottery Company in the Foxglove pattern, originally introduced in 1942. The collection includes a fan-shaped vase and a two-handled bulbous bowl. Both vessels are decorated with high-relief molded foxglove blossoms in shades of creamy yellow and tan with green leaves, set against a matte pinkish-brown ground often referred to as cinnamon. The fan vase, model 165-5, features a three-compartment divided rim, flared handles, and a rectangular pedestal base. It is marked on the underside with raised script reading Roseville U.S.A. 165-5. The handled bowl, model 411-4, has a rounded form with pointed upright handles and is marked on the base with an impressed circular mark reading ROSEVILLE U.S.A. 411-4.
