1943 Bellaire WWII US Military Enamelware Pitcher - A large World War II era U.S. military-issue water pitcher or ewer. The vessel is constructed of stamped metal with a vitreous enamel finish, featuring a gray speckled graniteware body with a black enamel rim and handle. The underside of the base contains a circular manufacturer mark with U.S. at the top, the date 1943 in the center, and B. E. Co. at the bottom, identifying the maker as the Bellaire Enamel Company. An additional stamp of 1 C is present to the left of the central mark.
