Trio of Folk Tramp Art Carved Wood Items - This collection includes three hand-carved wooden objects executed in the tramp art style, characterized by layered wood and notched chip-carving. The first item is a large rectangular open-work frame featuring multi-layered slats with notched geometric borders. The vertical side bars include carved diamond-shaped decorative overlays, and a wire hanging loop is attached to the top edge. The second item is a smaller picture frame with a house-shaped silhouette, consisting of a rectangular frame with a triangular top piece, all featuring layered notched borders and a central vertical support bar within the aperture. The third item is a heart-shaped press or mold mounted on a turned pedestal base. The top surface of the heart is deeply incised with a radial sunburst pattern. A remnant of red and white checkered fabric is tied around the narrow neck of the pedestal. All pieces are constructed from wood with visible nail heads used in the assembly of the layered sections. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are present on any of the items.
