Bohemian Cobalt Blue Overlay Cut Glass Footed Bowl - This large decorative footed centerpiece bowl is a high-quality example of Bohemian art glass from the late 19th or early 20th century, frequently attributed to makers such as Moser or Harrach. The piece is constructed from deep cobalt blue glass with an opaque white glass overlay. A cut-to-color technique is used to create circular and diamond-shaped windows through the white layer, revealing the blue glass beneath. These windows are further embellished with hand-painted gold enamel filigree and scrollwork. The white overlay is decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamel floral sprays featuring roses, daisies, and bluebells in shades of pink, yellow, orange, and green. The bowl features a scalloped, heavily gilt rim and rests on a waisted pedestal base. The flared circular foot includes circular porthole-style cut-outs and matching floral decoration.
