This sculptural piece is crafted from earthenware and finished in a deep, glossy monochromatic green glaze. The decorative motif features two birds, a perched crested bird and a smaller bird in flight, set against a base of broad, overlapping stylized leaves. The reverse of the item is a flat, undecorated surface with a rectangular well designed to function as a planter. The interior houses a single light socket for backlighting.
