Hand-Quilted Grandmothers Flower Garden Quilt - 60 x 72 A vintage cotton quilt featuring the classic Grandmothers Flower Garden pattern. The quilt is constructed from hand-pieced hexagonal units. Each floral motif consists of a white central hexagon, a surrounding ring of six lavender-and-white floral printed hexagons, and an outer ring of twelve solid purple hexagons. The quilt is hand-quilted with purple thread that follows the contours of the hexagonal pieces. The reverse is composed of solid white cotton fabric with a horizontal center seam and finished with a narrow white cotton binding. A small white rectangular fabric patch is hand-stitched to the reverse.
