American Mid-20th C. Nine Patch & Cross Quilt - 64 x 76 This handmade American patchwork quilt is constructed from hand-pieced and hand-quilted cotton fabrics dating from the mid-20th century. The design features a grid of alternating pieced blocks including Nine Patch variations and cross patterns. The blocks are composed of various printed cottons including floral, geometric, and novelty patterns, integrated with solid-colored panels. These blocks are set within a light blue sashing and framed by a wide pink floral print border on one side and a pale green fabric framing on others. The quilt is finished with a solid white cotton backing and exhibits traditional straight-line hand quilting across the surface.
