Amish Style Sunshine & Shadows Quilt Wall Hanging - 38 x 74 Hand-pieced and hand-quilted textile featuring a Sunshine and Shadows pattern, also known as a Trip Around the World design. The central field is composed of squares arranged in concentric diamond shapes using solid-colored fabric blocks in shades of dark and light blue, lavender, forest green, chocolate brown, and black. The central design is bordered by a series of concentric frames in lavender, royal blue, and a teal-toned outer border. Hand-quilting is visible throughout, following the seams in the central field and transitioning to decorative circular and scalloped motifs in the borders. The backing is a light-colored solid fabric and features a hand-stitched heart motif. Construction consists of hand-piecing and hand-quilting with visible running stitches. No maker marks or labels are present, other than a contemporary inventory tag on the reverse.
