Mid-Century Shoofly Pattern Hand-Pieced Quilt Top - 84 x 108 This vintage hand-pieced quilt top is composed of 42 blocks arranged in a six-by-seven checkerboard layout. The design features Shoofly blocks, a traditional Nine-Patch variation, alternating with solid off-white squares. The patterned blocks utilize an assortment of mid-century scrap fabrics including floral prints, paisley motifs, and gingham checks in cotton and cotton-polyester blends. These scraps are set against solid-colored backgrounds in shades of pink, light blue, lime green, yellow, and lavender. The entire piece is hand-constructed with visible white running stitches. This item is an unfinished quilt top and does not include batting, backing, or edge binding.
