Mid-20th C. Floral Wreath Chenille Bedspreads - 98 x 102 This lot consists of a white cotton bedspread featuring a matching floral design executed in different needlework styles. The item is a tufted chenille bedspread with a raised texture. The central design features a large circular wreath composed of purple five-petaled flowers with green stems and leaves. A single coordinating flower is positioned in the center of the wreath, and a curved floral swag appears at the top. The entire white ground is filled with a dense, textured pattern of concentric tufted loops and scrolling swirls characteristic of Candlewick-style embroidery. The edges are finished with a purple scalloped chenille border.
