US Military Footlocker w/ Firearms Ads - 32x16x13 This large, black-painted wooden storage chest is designed in the style of a mid-20th century military surplus footlocker. The exterior features a matte finish with the words MY GUNS stenciled in white serif-style block lettering across the lid. The interior is fitted with a removable two-compartment tray and is extensively decoupaged with a collection of vintage paper advertisements and catalog clippings related to firearms, air rifles, and ammunition. The clippings feature brands such as Remington, Colt, Beretta, Astra, Hi-Standard, and Daisy. Specific advertisements include the Red Ryder Cowboy Carbine, the Mattel M-16 Marauder toy gun, and price lists for surplus military rifles such as the Royal Enfield No. 1 Mk III and Jungle Carbine. The chest is built with metal corner reinforcements, three rear leaf hinges, a central locking hasp, and wooden block handles on either side. The interior tray features three ventilation holes on each side panel.
