Roseville Freesia & Weller Dogwood Pots - 2.5 and 6in tall. This lot features two pieces of mid-century American art pottery with relief-molded floral motifs. The first item is a Roseville Pottery bowl in the Freesia pattern, introduced in 1945. The vessel features a rounded form with two small, integral pierced handles. It is decorated with yellow trumpet-shaped flowers and green foliage against a textured background of dark brown and rust tones. The base bears a raised, molded mark that reads Roseville U.S.A. 6-8. The second item is a double-handled vase featuring a relief-molded floral design of pink and yellow blossoms resembling dogwood. The vase is finished in a textured, mottled ocher glaze with green highlights. It features a distinctive scalloped rim with four notches and flattened handles extending from the shoulder to the neck. The base is hand-inscribed with the numbers 251- / 10, a marking style and shape number consistent with Weller Pottery.
