Roseville Freesia Cornucopia Vase 198-8 - 7.5in tall An American art pottery cornucopia vase produced by Roseville Pottery in the Freesia pattern, which was introduced in 1945. The earthenware vessel features a flaring horn-shaped body rising from a stepped square base. The curved tip of the cornucopia terminates in a dark-colored spherical element where it meets the base. The exterior is decorated in relief with sprays of yellow and pinkish-orange freesia blossoms and long, slender green leaves. The body is finished in a blended matte glaze transitioning between shades of deep blue and forest green. The underside of the base features the raised mark Roseville, U.S.A., and the shape number 198-8.
