Antique Primitive Blue Child Hand Sled - 34x16x8 An antique children?s hand sled, likely of American primitive origin from the late 19th or early 20th century. The construction consists of a two-plank wooden deck supported by two wooden runners. These runners are fitted with iron shoes along the bottom and feature metal-reinforced tips at the front secured with screws. The sled is finished in an aged blue paint that covers the exterior and interior of the side panels. A cross-brace structure supports the seat planks from beneath. A small metal eyelet is attached to the interior front for a pull rope. No manufacturer names, trademarks, or date stamps are visible on the object.
