French Model 1915 Adrian Steel Infantry Helmet - This is a French Model 1915 Adrian infantry helmet constructed from four separate pieces of pressed steel. The design includes a central bowl, a front visor, and a rear brim, all joined with visible overlapping seams. A ventilated steel crest or comb is riveted to the top of the bowl. The front of the helmet features two horizontal slots for the attachment of a branch-specific insignia, which is currently absent. The exterior is finished in dark olive green paint. The interior contains a brown leather liner with a multi-tongue rosette configuration, supported by a layer of white textile wadding. A thin leather chinstrap with a rectangular metal buckle is attached to the shell. A modern white auction tag numbered 65 and 116 is present on the chinstrap.
