Bidspirit auction | 12 Wood Parlor Race Horses

12 Wood Parlor Race Horses & 4 Dice - This set consists of twelve hand-painted wooden horse racing figures and four oversized wooden dice, likely intended for use as components in a tabletop parlor race or carnival-style game. The horses are carved in a galloping pose and are organized into two matched sets of six. Each horse features a polychrome paint scheme with a numbered saddle cloth corresponding to its color: number 1 (black/dark brown), number 2 (orange/tan), number 3 (yellow/mustard), number 4 (reddish-brown), number 5 (olive green/tan), and number 6 (red). The figures are constructed from solid wood with hand-painted details including simple bridles and saddle blankets. The accompanying four oversized wooden dice are finished in black, tan, and orange, featuring recessed pips. No manufacturer names, trademarks, or hallmarks are visible on the figures or the dice.
