Goldeneye Drake Wood & Composite Decoy - 14x7 This vintage duck decoy is modeled as a Common Goldeneye drake. It features a carved wooden head attached to a body constructed from a dense, textured composite or cork-like material. The hand-painted decoration follows a traditional black and off-white plumage pattern, including the characteristic circular white patch on the face and stylized black wing feathering along the sides. The underside is fitted with a longitudinal metal keel, a small circular metal weight or plug, and an attached string with a metal snap swivel. A white string is tied around the neck joint. No maker's marks or brands are clearly legible on the item.
