Antique Wood Dough Bowl & Carved Scoop - This lot consists of two primitive wooden kitchen utensils: a large circular dough bowl and a matching hand-carved scoop. The bowl features a deep-welled, hand-turned circular form with a dark brown finish. Its interior exhibits significant wear, including deep scoring and scratch marks consistent with long-term domestic utility. The scoop is hewn from a single piece of wood, characterized by a wide, flat-bottomed head and a tapered handle ending in a small hooked terminal. Both items show a rich patina and signs of traditional hand-craftsmanship typical of 19th-century country kitchenware. No maker marks or signatures are present on either piece. Bowl is 12 inches.
