Fenton S. Bryan Station Satin Glass - 6.5 inches. This Fenton Art Glass vase is decorated in the Down By The Station pattern and was hand-painted by artist Susan Bryan. The vessel features a ruffled rim, a bulbous midsection, and a pedestal base. It is crafted from opaque creamy-yellow glass with a matte satin finish, a colorway often referred to as Sandstone by the manufacturer. The exterior is adorned with a wraparound hand-painted landscape scene rendered in monochromatic sepia tones. The winter-themed illustration depicts a rustic cabin with smoke rising from the chimney, a vintage automobile, split-rail fencing, utility poles, and a set of tracks or a path winding through the foreground. The scenery includes bare deciduous trees and stylized evergreens against a backdrop of rolling hills. The interior of the ruffled rim retains an original Fenton foil manufacturer label. The underside of the base is signed by the artist in brown paint with the inscription hand painted by S. Bryan.
