McKesson Embossed Fish Amber Oil Bottle - 9 in. An antique amber glass medicinal bottle characterized by a rectangular body, rounded shoulders, and a short tapered neck. The front panel features a prominent embossed fish within a decorative rectangular border, while the sides and shoulders are textured with a repeating scale pattern. The base of the bottle is embossed with the trademark for the Owens-Illinois Glass Company, featuring a diamond and the letter I within an O. This mark is accompanied by the number 2 on both the left and right sides, and the number 0 at the bottom. The visual characteristics and molded design are consistent with bottles produced for McKesson and Robbins cod liver oil during the mid-20th century. The bottle is fitted with a metal screw-cap and features a white string tied around the neck.
