Kickapoo Sagwa Amber Bottle w/ Labels - 8.5 in. This antique amber glass bottle was produced by the Kickapoo Indian Medicine Company for their signature remedy, Kickapoo Sagwa. The rectangular bottle features vertical embossing on one side panel that reads KICKAPOO INDIAN MEDICINE CO. It retains its original paper labels on both the front and back. The front label includes a central graphic illustration of a Native American man in a feathered headdress and draped cloak. Text on the front label identifies the product as KICKAPOO SAGWA and notes an alcohol content of 9 1/2 percent. It lists indications for the relief of biliousness, constipation, and sluggish liver, and features the facsimile signatures of company founders Healy and Bigelow.
