Dressel B&M Short Globe Hand Lantern - 9 in. This is an antique Boston & Maine Railroad short globe hand lantern produced by the Dressel Railway Lamp & Signal Company. The lantern is constructed of steel with a dark green painted finish and includes a traditional wire protective cage. The top chimney cap is embossed with B & M RR and the shoulder bears the D O maker mark for Dressel. The clear glass globe is etched with the initials B & M. It features a wire bail handle and contains an internal burner with a visible wick. Approximately 9.5 inches in height (excluding handle).
