US Coins & Commemorative Medals - A collection of US coins, commemorative medals, and tokens in various protective packaging. The group includes several US Lincoln Memorial cents dated 1972, 1973, and 1975 with post-mint obverse engravings. A gold-colored John Wayne commemorative medal features a portrait obverse inscribed JOHN WAYNE AMERICAN and a reverse with a figure on horseback. Tokens include a brass Gulf Oil FREE WASH token and a copper West Virginia Harpers Ferry statehood commemorative. Several 2004 and 2005 US Westward Journey Jefferson nickels with American Bison, Keelboat, and Peace Medal reverses are present; these exhibit post-mint gold-toned plating. Multiple 1992 and 2004 US Lincoln cents are held in heat-sealed film strips.
