US Liberty Nickels & Standing Quarters - A group of US coinage consisting of Liberty Head nickels and Standing Liberty quarters. The Liberty Head nickels are struck in copper-nickel composition. Legible dates in the group include 1901, 1902, 1904, 1911, and 1912. One nickel is secured in a circular plastic holder set into a blue velvet-covered insert within a protective sleeve. The Standing Liberty quarters are composed of 90% silver. These coins exhibit extensive circulation wear, particularly on the date pedestal on the obverse, making the majority of the quarters dateless.
