Taxidermy Female Pronghorn Antelope - This lot features a taxidermy shoulder mount of a female Pronghorn (Antilocapra americana). The specimen is rendered in a neutral, forward-facing pose and displays the characteristic tan-colored fur and white markings of the species, including two distinct white horizontal bands across the throat area. As a female of the species, the head lacks the branched horns found on male specimens. The mount includes large dark inset eyes and upright ears with dark fur tips. The piece is attached to a standard shield-shaped wooden plaque finished with a dark stain. No taxidermist labels, signatures, or maker marks are visible on the exterior of the mount or the plaque.
